A Jaffna- Karainagar bound bus attached to Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) slipped off the main road in Kallundai, Jaffna this morning injuring at least sixteen passengers.
One of the injured passengers is in critical condition while the rest of them are admitted for further treatment, according to officials at the Jaffna Teaching hospital.
The bus driver, who survived with minor injuries was taken into police custody. Jaffna police are conducting further investigations. (Pix by N.Lohathayalan)
