Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that he will table his educational qualifications in Parliament tomorrow (18).
The opposition leader made the pledge today in response to a request made by Chief Government Whip and Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayathissa.
Speaking earlier in the day, Minister Jayathissa asked Mr Premadasa to present his degree certificate from the London School of Economics. "You are facing allegations from many quarters including from social media, asking where is the degree certificate you claim to have from the London School of Economics. No one is questioning the degree certificate of Dr. Harsha De Silva but they do question about yours. All you have to do is present that certificate to Parliament and put an end to the controversy," Dr Jayathissa told Mr Premadasa.
In response, Mr Premadasa said he intends to present not just his degree certificate but also all of his other educational qualifications to the House tomorrow morning.
