The first stage of the first term in government and government approved schools will end today (25) with the second stage planned to commence on March 15, the Education Ministry said.
Education Ministry Secretary Prof. Kapila Perera said the decision to split the first term was due to last year’s Ordinary Level examination scheduled from March 01 to 11 this year.
Earlier Education Minister G.L.Peiris said that all grades in all schools including Western province will be re-opened on March 15.
