A 36-year-old security guard deployed at the Department of Examinations in Battaramulla was killed when a lorry knocked him down, Police said today (17).
The lorry was leaving the Department from the main gate when the accident took place yesterday.
Police said initial investigations revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle.
He was later placed under arrest.
