Seven Additional Solicitor Generals of the Attorney General's Department have been appointed as President's Counsels by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Additional Solicitor Generals Milinda Gunatilleke, Harippriya Jayasundara, Vikum de Abrew, Shanaka Wijesinghe, Raveendra Pathiranage, Nerin Pulle and Chethiya Goonesekera are the new President’s Counsels appointed.
Issuing a press release, the President’s Media Division said Director General of Legal Affairs of the Presidential Secretariat, Attorney-at-law Harigupta Rohanadeera has handed over names of the newly appointed President’s Counsels to the Registrar of the Supreme Court yesterday (14).
