Seven new projects were launched in the Rambukkana Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe today.
These projects were implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and Lands under the Tourism Belt Development Project of the Pinnawala Kithulgala.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
