A railway security guard opened fire at a group of persons who entered the Ratmalana railway yard in the early hours of today to steal property and injured one of them.
Five persons, some of them armed with swords.
A railway security guard was also injured when the gang attacked the guards.
The suspect injured in the incident was arrested and admitted to the Kalubowila hospital.The security guard too is receiving treatment.
