Showers predicted today as well

Several areas of Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, as well as Galle and Matara Districts will have showers or thundershowers after 2:00 pm today (12), the Department of Meteorology said.

According to the Department of Meteorology, extreme weather conditions in the North-central, Uva, and Eastern Provinces are expected to ease off today.

Scattered showers are predicted in Eastern and Uva Provinces.

The rest of the island will see fine weather.
