Showers are expected to occur in Eastern and Uva provinces as well as in Polonnaruwa and Matale districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places are to be expected in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle, Matara and Nuwara-Eliya districts in the evening or at night.

Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph are to be expected at times in the eastern, central, Northern, North-central, North-western, Uva and Eastern provinces and in the Hambantota district.
