At least six children have drowned and 11 persons have been hospitalised after a ferry capsised in the Kinniya area today (23) morning, Police said.
Three others are missing and a search operation has been launched.
About 20 persons were on the ferry with mostly school children when the ferry capsised in the Kurinyankerny area.
The 11 persons have been admitted to the Kinniya hospital.
