Six persons were injured when a bus veered off the road and toppled into the Mamadala Canal in Ambalanthota this afternoon (5).
The injured included the driver of the bus and five passengers. The bus had been taking a group of persons who were coming home after a trip.
The bus belongs to a resident of Mamadala and police said the driver had lost control of the vehicle, resulting it veering off the road and toppling into the canal. Ambalanthota Police are investigating.
