Six men who linked up with one of the Easter Sunday suicide bombers and produced bombs illegally were handed over indictments at the Colombo High Courts today.
They were charged for manufacturing bombs in the Wellawalla and Kirulapone area with the suicide bomber who exploded himself at the Cinnamon Grand hotel on April 21, 2019.
The indictments were handed over before High Court judge Nawaratna Marasinghe.
The suspects Mohamed Sathkar, Mohamed Ashroff, Ishak Mohideen, Mohamed Fowzi and Mohamed Abdulla were remanded until October 27.
The court was informed by the Attorney General that the suspects were arrested with 21 bombs while 31 witnesses have been listed.
The next hearing has been fixed for October 27.
