Sixty two persons including a group of Buddhist monks charged for forcibly entering the Education Ministry last week were released on bail today.
Among them is the former convener of the Inter University Students Federation (IUFS) Wasantha Mudalige.
They entered the Education Ministry demanding the opening of all faculties of the Buddhist and Pali University in Pitipana, Homagama which was closed down in December.
Only the first year students of the University were allowed to resume academic work today.
