Speaker asks President to immediately convene Parliament
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has asked President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to immediately given the country's prevailing situation.
Parliament was originally due to convene on May 17. Meanwhile, the Speaker has also convened a special Party Leaders' meeting at 3.00pm tomorrow (11) to discuss the country's prevailing situation.
