A Sri Lankan trying to smuggle gold from Thailand has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with 14 biscuits of gold valued at Rs 27 million.
The Customs officials using metal detectors had checked the baggage and found the gold.
Customs investigations were underway.
