COVID-19 has claimed another 136 lives, increasing the total number of deaths from the virus to 11,567, the Health Ministry said.
Out of the 136 reported, the majority (106) were above 60 years while 28 persons between the ages of 30-59 have succumbed to COVID triggered complications. Two below 30 years have died during the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 2475 people were tested positive yesterday, bringing the number of total infected persons (confirmed) to 490,957.
