Stand up comedian Natasha Edirisooriya was ordered to be further remanded till July 5 by Fort Magistrate today.
CID arrested Natasha on May 28 following a complaint by the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs over comments made by her at a show.
Meanwhile, owner of SL Vlog Bruno Divakara was released on bail by Fort Magistrate. He was arrested for publishing statements by her on his YouTube channel.
Ven. Rajangane Saddharatne Thero who was arrested in Anuradhapura was also further remanded till July 5.
The Thero who was arrested on May 28 by the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) following a complaint by Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thero that certain statements made by Saddharatane Thero could disrupt religious harmony.
