Railway Station Masters’ Association has threatened to go on strike if they fail to draw a response from the discussions they are due to have today (27) over 10 demands.
Though the station masters were due to go on strike last night, the President of the Association Sumedha Somaratne said the final decision will be taken today afternoon.
Among the demands are, resolving an overtime issue and seeking of an allowance if the promotions due to them are not granted.
