Puttalam High Court have imposed a 18 year Rigorous Imprisonment term for a step father who had sexually abused his daughter, yesterday.
High Court Judge, Nadee Aprana Suduhandungoda had also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000. According to the judgment if the offender fails to pay the fine he would be imprisoned for an additional six months of a simple imprisonment.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
