The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) today introduced a mobile and web-based application to help travellers identify long-distance bus schedules.
This service was launched today(10) by Minister Bandula Gunawardena at a media briefing held at the Government Information Department.
The minister said during the app's introduction that it was Sri Lanka's largest online bus/coach reservation platform ever, and that it will change the way millions of Sri Lankans commute and book seats across the country.
People would be able to reserve seats through the application's online bus ticket purchasing services, he said.
All information regarding the bus schedules are available on their website and mobile application. A hotline '1315' active 24/7 was also introduced.
The bookings could be done via this website - 'sltb.eseat.lk'
