A fundamental rights petition filed by M. A. Sumanthiran contesting the validity of the Online Security Act was dismissed by the Supreme Court today.
The fundamental rights application was filed by MP Sumanthiran in the Supreme Court on February 14, challenging the Speaker’s endorsement of the Online Safety Bill.
The case was taken up by Justice Priyantha Jayawardene, Justice Shiran Gunaratne, and Justice Achala Vengappuli.
