A man was arrested yesterday over keeping a locally manufactured shotgun, Parayanaalankulam Police said.
The police said that they made the detection following a tip-off made by the public. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old man residing at Ganeshpuram area.
The suspect is to be produced before Vavauniya Magistrate courts.
