A suspect involved in drug distribution has been arrested and brought back to Sri Lanka from Dubai by the Criminal Investigation Department today, Police said.
The suspect known as 'Piyuma' was known to be the main drug distributor for 'Kudu Salindu'.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
