Three suspects have been arrested over the shooting incident in Middeniya that claimed three lives this week have been arrested, Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament.
One of the arrested suspects is a serving police constable, the Minister also revealed.
Three persons including two children were killed in the incident.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
