A school teacher in the Watawala area was arrested for attempted sexual assault of students is due to be produced in courts.
The 44-year old suspect who is the science teacher of the school had been serving for five years. He had sent inappropriate text messages to three girls of the tenth grade who had not responded.
Despite their disinterest, the teacher had made advances during his class, and the students had filed a police complaint to the Watawala police, who have later arrested the teacher.
He is to be produced before the Hatton Magistrate.
