At least ten underage school-going boys have been taken into custody over a recent sword attack incident on another minor student in Navanthurai, Jaffna, police said.
The Crime Division of Jaffna police arrested the students along with sharp weapons which were recovered from the possession of the suspects.
All suspects are school going students in the age range of 14-17 and residents of Athiady, Nallur, Navanthurai and Jaffna town area. The arrested boys are to be produced before the Children Magistrate Court in Jaffna. (N.Parameswaran)
