As the Chief Scout of Sri Lanka, President Ranil Wickremesinghe declared the 10th National Scout Jamboree open a short while ago.
The National Scout Jamboree is being held in Trincomalee with the participation of 11,500 scouts, from Sri Lanka and 28 other countries, the President’s Media Division said.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
