The term of the Commission of Inquiry established to look into incidents that took place between March and May this year and to assess damage to property triggered by unrest has been extended.
In a gazette extraordinary, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has extended the time given to the Commission to submit a final report till November 30.
The Commission of Inquiry was established on May 31 this year and the term was to end this month.
