Veteran author and media personality Thibiriyagama Bandara will launch his two latest books today, January 16, at 4:00 PM at the National Library Services Board Auditorium in Colombo, marking his return after nearly seven years.
One of the books, titled "Rosamal Kumaraya" (The Prince of Roses), is a novel targeted at youth,while the other is an "Editorial Reference Book" featuring a collection of his writings over the years.
The event will be attended by Attorney-at-Law Dr. W.A. Abeysinghe, who will chair the proceedings, with speeches by Prof. Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri, literary and art critic Sisira Kumara Mahagama, and a complementary speech by writer Devi Gallage.
Both books are published by Samudra Publications.
