Thieves have broken into a Sathosa outlet in Dambulla town and stolen milk food, chicken and other items over the weekend, Police said today.
A full audit is being carried out to determine the items which have been taken away.
The persons had entered the building through the roof, after climbing onto a large tree located close to the building.
The robbers had also removed the CCTV recording device.
Police officers are questioning the security guard deployed to guard the building and other employees
The Sathosa building is located in a central point with state banks, the main bus stand, hospital and several private establishments located in the vicinity.
