Three hundred Pulse Oximetres were handed over to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (6) at Temple Trees.
These metres were a donation by Dr Bodagama Chandima Thera for the purpose of helping Covid patients.
The Thera said at the handing over ceremony that the vaccination drive by the government as part of controlling the pandemic is commendable.
Prime Minister speaking at the event said that the government is priortising the vaccination campaign in order to protect the lives of people, and the sponsorships by charity organisations, private companies and individuals towards this purpose are much appreciated.
