The police officers attached to the Special Task Force camp at Lahugala have arrested two men who were transporting 33 buffalos illegally, police said.
The police said that the three individuals had not obtained a license for transporting the buffalos. The suspects have been handed over to the wildlife range office at Lahugala.
The three suspects were identified as residents of Pothuvil, Thrukyakovil and Demodara.
