President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Justice W. M. N. P. Iddawala as the Chairman of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and Chethiya Goonesekera and K. Bernard Rajapakse as the other members with effect from January 1, 2024 onwards, President Media Division (PMD) said.
Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
