The three girls who went missing since Monday (8) have been found, police said.
The girls, between 13 and 15 years (two siblings and their cousin) from Colombo 12 and Gampola, were last seen at Viharamaha Devi park and in Galle Face Green on Monday. Police said the girls were found in a house closer to their home and were safe.
A search operation took place following a complaint lodged at the Keselwatte police by the mother of two of the missing girls. According to police, the girls had taken their mother’s phone along with them. Keselwatte police is conducting an investigation into the incident.
