The U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland met President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat this morning.
The President's Media Division said during the discussion the President thanked the US government for their support during difficult times.
Under-Secretary Nuland has pledged the US government’s support for Sri Lanka’s ongoing recovery efforts.
Ms. Nuland will also take part in the 75th Independence Day celebrations on February 4, the US embassy in Colombo said.
