BYD vehicles release against bank and company guarantees

Additional Solicitor General Sumathi Dharmawardena representing Sri Lanka Customs agreed in the court that Customs agreed to release 625 BYD vehicles which had been held by Customs. They will be released  on  bank and company guarantees.

Prisons received approval for new vehicles purchase

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the purchase of 40 buses, 10 vans, five bowsers and three tractors for the Department of Prisons to perform their duties efficiently and ensure the welfare of the inmates.
