Arrest warrant on former NLB Working Director
An arrest warrant was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva on former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board (NLB), Thusitha Halloluwa as he failed to appear in courts. He failed to appear before the court over an incident involving a false complaint that a group of people had opened fire on the vehicle he was travelling in in the Narahenpita area.
Committee report on repealing PTA handed over

Bail application by Kuchchaveli PS Chairman rejected
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Bodaragama rejected the bail application filed by the Chairman of the Kuchchaveli Pradeshiya Sabha, Ainiya Pillai Mubarak of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) and further remanded him until November 28 for suspicion of accepting a bribe of Rs. 500,000.
