Heavy rainfall has resulted in Mirissa town in Weligama experiencing floods today(18).
Public in the area complained that blocked drainage lines have triggered floods along the Galle-Matara road in the popular beach destination.
They lament the loss of income generated from tourism due to the flood conditions.
