Trade Unions stage protest at Galle Face Green

A group of Trade Unions representing various employees ranging from Farmers, and Free Trade Zone workers to professionals staged a solidarity protest with peaceful protesters camped at Galle Face Green demanding the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The protesters commenced their protest march from Pettah and proceeded towards Galle Face to show their solidarity with protesters who came under attack by pro- government protesters yesterday. (Pix by Akila Jayawardana)
