The upcountry railway services was disrupted again today following a derailment, officials said.
The Railway Department said that the train traveling from Badula to Colombo Fort derailed today at 12.15 pm between Haputale and Diyathalawa railway stations.
Due to the train derailment, the train traveling from Badula to Kandy has been stopped at Bandarawela railway station and the goods train traveling from Kandy to Badula has been stopped at the Haputhale railway station.
The Railway Control Room has also informed that there may be delays in the train services to the upcountry.
