Two Chinese women who were allegedly conducting trade while in the country on tourist visas were arrested by the Kandy Unit of Tourist Police yesterday.
The two suspects aged 47 and 48 were arrested from premises of the Kandy Central Market last afternoon.
They were handed over to the Kandy Police for further investigations.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
