Two suspects who attempted to carryout a murder were arrested in Kaluthara by the STF.
Upon receiving information regarding the attempted murder, on September 10, the STF carried out a raid on September 15 in the Meegoda area where they arrested the suspects and a pistol manufactured abroad was seized.
The suspects aged 47 and 28 are residents of Meegoda and Thalathuoya. They were handed over to the Mount Lavinia police for further investigation.
