Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting of an individual in Mount Lavinia on May 5.
The victim was shot dead by two unidenfied assailants who arrived on a motorbike.
The Mt. Lavinia Police and the Mt. Lavinia Division Crime Investigation Bureau launched an investigation into the incident and two suspects who allegedly aided and abetted the shooting were arrested by officers of the Mt. Lavinia Crime Investigation Bureau yesterday (12).
The arrested suspects, aged 21 and 32 years, are residents of Mt. Lavinia and Dehiwala. Further investigations are ongoing.
