Two persons have been shot dead today morning in Kottawa and Kosgoda areas, police said.
A 30 year old man, an employee of a private medical laboratory in Kottawa town was shot by two unidentified gunmen who arrived in a motorbike. The victim succumbed to gunshot injuries at Homagama hospital.
Meanwhile, another shooting was reported in Kosgoda today morning. A 52 year old man was shot dead by two gunmen on a bike. The victim was killed outside his residence. Kosgoda police has commenced investigation into the incident.
