Two more suspects have been arrested, according to Sri Lanka Police, for allegedly assisting the gunmen involved in the shooting and killing of two individuals, including businessman Surendra Wasantha Perera, popularly known as ‘Club Wasantha.”
According to the police, the suspects, who allegedly assisted the killers in escaping, have been arrested in the Athurugiriya and Battaramulla areas.
Additionally, a 21-year-old woman was detained by police on Sunday (21) on suspicion of having ties to the murder.
Eight suspects, including the proprietor of the tattoo parlor in Athurugiriya where the shooting event occurred, had already been detained by the police.
