Trade Minister Bandula Gunawrdena told Times Online that there are 400 million USD credit lines from Pakistan and Australia for earlier rates.
The minister said that they conducted negotiations with the two countries. He added that the credit lines would be active from April 6, 2022.
Mr Gunawardena said that there are plans to purchase barley and dhal from Australia via credit line while Sri Lanka plans to purchase rice, sugar, potatoes and onions from Pakistan.
