Two persons have received injuries after being shot in Kinniya last night (7).
The victims had been traveling on a motorbike when they were shot by another two men on a motorbike near a mosque.
The two victims, aged 30 and 33, were admitted to the Kinniya Hospital before being transferred to the Trincomalee Hospital for further treatment.
Police say a personal dispute had led to the shooting and that the suspects involved have been identified. Kinniya Police are conducting investigations to arrest them.
