Two persons transporting pesticides prohibited in Sri Lanka were arrested in the Divulapitiya area, Police said today.
The suspects had in their possesion 1,950 packets valued at Rs 1.6 million.
The suspects were transporting the pesticides in a lorry.
They are due to be produced before the Minuwangoda Magistrate today.
