UGC extends deadline for applying to universities till June 18

News

The University Grants Commission (UGC) said that the final deadline for applying for university admission has been extended till June 18.

Accordingly, students are advised to purchase the University Admission Handbook applicable to the academic year 2020/2021 or download the same only from the University Grants Commission (UGC) website: www.ugc.ac.lk before submitting applications for university admission to the UGC.

Meanwhile, UGC has also observed that the above Handbook has been uploaded to different websites or through other social media.

In view of the above, UGS stressed that it will not hold itself responsible nor be held liable for any inaccurate or misleading information, if any, in the contents of the Handbook made available on such websites / social media or any other electronic media.
