A stock of medicines worth USD 39.6 million donated through 'Helpline Lanka' in the United States was handed over to Health Ministry authorities by the US Embassy.
US Ambassador Julie J. Chung handed over the stock of donated medicines to Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella at the Health Ministry premises.
The donated medicines include drugs used to treat infections, cholesterol, arthritis, diabetes along with various painkillers.
